The welcome at this hotel was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the owners made us feel right at home. They offered us a warm cup of tea and some delicious biscuits and cakes. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, always making sure we had everything we needed. The hotel had a nice lounge area with a play area for children, which was great for keeping our daughter entertained. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from the beach. we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
While our stay at this hotel was mostly enjoyable, there were a few aspects that could be improved. The family room we stayed in was not the best.

We got great value for our money at this family-run hotel. The room was clean and accommodating, and the owners made us feel very welcome. The location was convenient, with a short walk to the shops and Boscombe pier. The staff were friendly and helpful, even serving us a tray of tea and cakes upon our arrival.
The breakfast option could have been better with more variety. The staff in charge of serving the food was helpful, but we wished there were more options to choose from.

I had a wonderful stay at this family-friendly venue. the couple who own the place, Vicky & David, were extremely friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home. They even welcomed us with a hot drink and biscuits in the cozy guest lounge. the room was clean, tidy, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I especially loved that they had a range of toys in the lounge for the young children in our group. the location was great too, with a short walk to Boscombe High St for dinner and easy access to the train into Bournemouth. And let's not forget the delicious breakfast - it was the best I've tasted!
Nothing, everything was perfect. 👍.

Hotel facilities, staff, location
I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with a spacious family room and a cute little play area in the lounge that kept my kids entertained for hours. The staff here were extremely friendly and accommodating - they even greeted us with tea and biscuits upon our late arrival. This hotel’s location was perfect - it was close enough to the beach for us to enjoy a nice walk but not so close as to be crowded or noisy. Additionally, the breakfast was delicious and really hit the spot for us.
Almost perfect. There were absolutely no complaints from me and my family during our stay.

The hotel had a lovely and cozy atmosphere, with a charming decor that exuded comfort and relaxation. The communal areas were well-maintained and provided a warm and inviting space to socialize with other guests. As a senior woman, I appreciated that the hotel had easy accessibility throughout, with spacious hallways and an elevator available. It was also conveniently located within walking distance to the beach, allowing for leisurely strolls and enjoying the beautiful views.
It would have been even more delightful if the hotel had offered better facilities specifically tailored for senior guests. It would have been greatly appreciated if there were grab bars or handles in the bathroom to ensure safety and ease of use.

We had a wonderful stay at a charming beachside hotel. the location was perfect, just a short walk away from the beach. the room was clean and comfortable, with a view of the sea. the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, providing tea and milk for our baby upon request. the breakfast selection was excellent, and we were greeted with drinks and cakes upon arrival. A truly enjoyable stay.
The shower's water pressure was a bit low on the top floor.

The location of the hotel was perfect, just a short walk away from the beach and close to all the main attractions. the staff were friendly and made us feel welcome, especially during the holiday season. - the breakfast was excellent and made to order, which was a nice touch.
The rooms were a bit outdated and in need of refurbishment. the shower had very poor water pressure, which was frustrating after a long day out in the cold.

They even offered us a delicious hot drink and biscuits to make us feel at home. The guest lounge was fully equipped with toys, which was perfect for keeping the kids entertained. It truly felt like a family-friendly venue.
Although I did experience a minor issue with a missing blind on one window, the overall location of the Sandbar Beach House was excellent. It was just a short walk of less than 10 minutes to reach the beach, making it super convenient for our trips there.
